Saint Martin picnic areas and refuges

Spend a sunny afternoon recharging your batteries at one of our picnic spots
​Le Grand Plan:
Located above the village of Suen, the Grand Plan activity area is an ideal place for family celebrations or corporate events... The chalet built in 2016 consists of a fully equipped indoor heated room (50 people) as well as a terrace (60 people) which can be completely closed. Picnic area "La Plantation":
Also located above the village of Suen, in the middle of the forest, this spot offers 2 fireplaces and 5 large tables of which 2 are covered as well as a sink and WC.

"Plan de la Troyette" picnic area:
Above the village of Suen, also in the heart of the forest, and equipped with 2 large tables and a WC, a great place to take a break during walks in the area.

 Refuge "La Roche":
Above the village of La Luette at an altitude of 1000 metres, this refuge hosts 120 people. Equipped with 3 fireplaces, WC and petanque courts. Bookings: Andre Gaspoz  +41 79.206 87 05  

"Les Houilles" picnic area (Praz Pouric):

Above the village of Eison, on the road leading to the mountain pasture, this spot offers 5 tables, 3 of which are sheltered as well as a sink and WC. Bookings: Saint-Martin Tourisme

All the picnic areas are accessible by car except for "Les Houilles" which is located 50 metres from the road leading to the A Vieille mountain pasture.

Picnic areas with fire pits are generously provided for your use. Please respect the area, take away your waste, clean the fire pits and empty the ashes into the container provided for this purpose. Thank you.
